How Do My Meals Arrive?

Elite Lifestyle Cuisine ships its products in a frozen state. Most often items arrive completely frozen. Depending on temperature and time of year however, some thawing may occur. This does not mean that your products integrity has been compromised. Please place your items in the freezer immediately upon receiving them.

Proper Storage

Upon receiving your Elite Lifestyle Cuisine order, please make certain to place any meals you may not immediately eat in the freezer. You may leave items you wish to consume within the next four days in your refrigerator. Having meals refrigerated rather than frozen will shorten the heating time, which may enhance the taste of each item. Meals may be heated directly out of the freezer. All heating and proper handling instructions are on the label for your safety.

Meal Preparation

All Elite Lifestyle Cuisine menu items are fully cooked and are delivered in BPA free, microwave and oven-safe containers for convenience. When heating in a microwave, simply remove lid and reheat according to package instructions. When heating in an oven, simply remove the contents, place them in an oven safe pan and heat according to package instructions. ***When heating with a microwave, the lid must be removed prior to heating!

How does the food stay fresh in transit?

We have specially designed boxes that contain a thick insulated liner and dry ice to ensure that everything arrives to you frozen or nearly frozen. ***Dry ice is a gas, therefore may evaporate entirely before arrival. This does not mean that the integrity of your product has been affected.

What if I have a specific allergy?

Our entire menu line is labeled. Allergen information is provided on each item. For specific answers please contact our office.

Are Elite Lifestyle Cuisine menu items diabetic friendly?

Diabetics may actually benefit greatly by consuming our menu items. Most of our carbohydrate sources are low-glycemic index options. All of our selections are labeled with a full listing of ingredients and macro-nutrient contents.

Are gluten-free meals an option?

Elite Lifestyle Cuisine does in fact offer gluten-free options.

Why Does Elite Lifestyle Cuisine Freeze Their Meals

We utilize a flash-freezing process which has proven to be the safest and most effective method to protect against food-borne illness and spoilage. This process has been PROVEN to PRESERVE AND IMPROVE the taste and quality of prepared meals. Fresh food items begin to spoil just one day after production, this becomes obvious in their taste. Our menu items however, when heated, have a ‘just made’ taste to them. Our clients never need to concern themselves with the risk of eating a potentially spoiled menu item. We take every precaution possible to guarantee product freshness, taste, quality, and safety.

How long can I keep my meals in the freezer?

All of our meals are labeled with expiration dates. You can keep them frozen between 60 and 90 days.

Can I refrigerate my meals upon receiving them?

Yes! Upon receiving them, you can refrigerate them for up to four days. We also suggest you transport meals from the freezer and into your refrigerator prior to reheating. This will shorten the re-heating time and could enhance the flavor of each item.

How many calories do your meals have?

All of our meals range between 280 and 600 calories. Each item is labeled and all of the macronutrient information provided.

Does Elite Lifestyle Cuisine offer vegetarian items?

Yes. We have several options for vegetarians.

Shipping and Ordering

Is there a minimum order required for delivery service?

No. You may order from our A la Carte menu and choose as few or as many as you like.

Does Elite Lifestyle Cuisine offer a subscription service?

Yes. We have three different types of weekly subscription programs.

Is there a minimum subscription length?

Subscriptions are weekly deliveries. You may cancel even after your first order.

What types of Subscription Plans does Elite Lifestyle Cuisine offer?

Elite Lifestyle Cuisine offers 3 different plans. All subscribers receive their meals on a weekly basis and can choose between 1 meal per day (7 weekly), 2 meals per day (14 weekly), or 3 meals per day (21 weekly).

How often will I receive a delivery?

All subscription orders are recurring weekly. You can choose your delivery day. Delivery days are between Tuesday and Friday. In some cases, Saturday delivery is an option.

Where do we deliver?

We currently deliver nationwide with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska.

How do I receive my order from Elite Lifestyle Cuisine?

All meals are shipped out of our Fairview, New Jersey headquarters. All orders are packed in insulated boxes with dry-ice to ensure product integrity while in transit and are shipped via Federal Express.

When can I expect my delivery?

A la Carte orders are usually shipped the very next business day. Delivery transit time is 1-3 days depending on state. Once your order has been processed for delivery, you will receive an email notification from Federal Express with tracking information. Subscribers will receive their recurring orders on or close to the date selected on their profiles. ***Business days are Monday through Friday. Orders received on Friday after 12 p.m. will be processed the following Monday.

Do I need to be home to accept the delivery?

No. If you are not home during delivery, Federal Express will drop the box off at your front door (or an alternative address that you may provide). If Federal Express deems that it is unsafe to leave the package it will not leave it. If you live in an area where a box could not easily be left or Federal Express does not have access to your building, we suggest one of the following solutions: • Provide the address of a helpful neighbor that will be home during the delivery window and can accept your package for you. • Have the box delivered to your work place. • Have the box delivered to a nearby Federal Express pick-up location.

My package was delivered but I was not home to receive it. Who is responsible?

All customers receive a confirmation email from Federal Express once your order is tendered. We use the email that you provide us on your order. Federal Express sends updates as well as delivery notifications once the orders have been delivered. It is the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER to ensure that the products are retrieved in a timely manner. Elite Lifestyle Cuisine is NOT responsible for orders that are not retrieved in a timely manner.

How much does delivery cost?

A $19.95 shipping and handling fee is added to all orders within a 1-2 day shipping zone. A $39.95 shipping and handling fee is added to orders outside of our normal shipping zones.

Can I change my preferences?

Yes. Please send an e-mail to info@elitelifestylecuisine.com or submit a message on our Contact page to let us know what meal changes you would like to make to your upcoming Meal Subscription Plan deliveries. Please note that we require a minimum of two business days in order to expedite the change.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You may cancel anytime, however you must notify us via email or telephone within 3 days of your next scheduled delivery date.
